About

Austin Lacrosse Club is a post-collegiate lacrosse team based in Austin, Texas. The team is mostly comprised of post-NCAA and MCLA Division 1, 2 and 3 players. Many of the players hail from New York, Pennsylvania, Boston, and Virginia. We compete against intercollegiate and post-collegiate teams throughout Texas.

The Austin Lacrosse Club is a member-funded nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that derives its finances from annual dues from its members. Dues are required to participate during the regular season, and go towards club expenses such as uniforms, team gear, league dues, referee fees, insurance, field fees, and post-game social activities. Dues are determined on a yearly basis, and will change to reflect the financial needs of the team.

Austin competes in the Southwest Lacrosse Association (SWLA), which conducts its regular season in the spring. The league is comprised of teams from Austin and Dallas. The SWLA season begins in February/March and runs through May, ending with a league championship weekend. This championship weekend is annually rotated between Austin and Dallas.
